Athletes have their Performance Enhancers. Weightlifters and bodybuilders have their steroids. Rockstars have their cocaine. And every college student or intern in America knows Adderall.
What do all these have in common?
They’re all illegal unless prescribed.
But lately, there’s been buzz about perfectly legal chemical products that offer their takers increased mental performance, focus, alertness and dexterity and more. Apparently, it’s replacing Adderall and co in Silicon Valley, among bankers, CEOs and highly erm,
competitive motivated workers.
One of them is called Neurofuse, allegedly the brainchild of some Harvard boys, and endorsed by an interesting mix of business people, banker types, programmers and what have you, on their website.
I read some of the material they have, trying to understand the composition and potential side effects of this thing. But from the reviews I saw, and other comments I’ve read it apparently works. I’m not sure I believe them, because I’m a natural skeptic. But if they say it works for them, who am I to argue?
So my question is, have you ever tried any brain performance enhancer? Or would you try it if you knew it would get you in the zone and give you that edge that we all desperately need from time to time?
Personally, I don’t know. I worry about long term collateral damages with things like this. So I doubt I’ll ever try it. But good to know things like this are out there. For you ninjas, you know.
